Getting access
You can turn on Advanced Security from the Overview tab in the Xfinity app. Select the Internet Advanced Security tile and follow the steps to turn it on.
Note: It may take up to 10 minutes to fully turn on.

Equipment requirements
Advanced Security is only supported for eligible gateways.
Note: Advanced Security cannot be used on Gateways in Bridge Mode.
