If you have a past-due balance, you may be able to pay it off in monthly installments and keep your Xfinity services active. If you qualify, you'll see an installment plan option on the Payments page when you sign in at xfinity.com.
Things to know
- You may be able to split your past‑due balance into monthly payments over 12 or 24 months.
- The 12‑month option is available through self‑service or if you contact us.
- The 24‑month option is only available if you contact us.
- We encourage you to make an initial payment when you sign up for an installment plan. The initial payment will lower your future monthly payments, make the plan more affordable, and help you stay on track.
- If you miss a payment, your service will be interrupted. You’ll owe the full balance and won’t be able to set up another installment plan.
- It may take up to three days for an installment plan to show on your account. You can check the status anytime by chatting with Xfinity Assistant.
- You can pay off your installment plan early at any time by paying the remaining balance in full.

Setting up an installment plan
When you sign in to your account, you may see a message about flexible payment options. Follow these steps to explore your options:
- Select Chat for options to open Xfinity Assistant.
- If you qualify, Xfinity Assistant will show your available options.
- Select Yes, I'm interested in an installment plan.
- Click Yes, let’s continue.
- You’ll see an option to make a one-time payment toward your total past-due balance. Enter the amount you want to pay, choose your payment method, and select Continue.
- A new tab may open. Keep the original tab open because you will return to it after you make a payment.
- On the Installment plan page, review the monthly plan terms and select I agree to the Xfinity installment plan terms and conditions.
- Click Submit to finish.
