Connect to Xfinity WiFi

Follow the below steps to connect to Xfinity WiFi using devices running the Mac OS X operating system.

  1. AirPort is used on Macs to set up and manage WiFi connections and must first be turned on. The AirPort icon is found in the menu bar next to the clock, in the upper-right corner of the screen.

  2. To turn AirPort on:
    • Click the AirPort icon.

    • Select Turn AirPort On.

  3. Next, to connect to the xfinitywifi network:
    • Click the AirPort icon.

    • Find and select xfinitywifi from the list of available networks (SSIDs).

    • Wait a few moments while the Mac connects. Once connected, you'll see a checkmark in the AirPort menu next to the xfinitywifi SSID.

  4. Once a WiFi network has been joined manually, the device automatically joins the network whenever it's in range.
    • If more than one previously-used network is in range, the device joins the one last used.
  5. Once connected to the xfinitywifi network, launch the device's web browser, which will open the Xfinity WiFi login page.
  6. Enter your Xfinity ID and password and then click Sign In.

  7. After successfully entering login credentials, you’ll be directed to the xfinity.com home page.
    • From there, you can browse the internet.
