The easiest way to tell which features will count against your internet data usage is to look for the Internet badge, which will appear in the program information.
Using apps, features and free live streaming channels on X1 that have the Internet badge will count against your monthly Internet data usage. This also includes ads you may see that link to a third-party app, such as Netflix. Some of these apps are listed below, but this isn't an all-inclusive list. Make sure to check for the Internet badge:

- ESPN3
- Free Games on X1
- Fandango
- Hulu
- iHeart Radio
- Internet Subscription on Demand Services
- HBO Max
- Music Choice
- Netflix
- Pandora
- Peacock
- Pluto TV
- Prime Video
- Spotify
- Tubi
- YouTube
- YouTube Kids
- XITE
- Xumo Play
- Zone-ify
If you’re watching a channel with the Internet badge, or you’re watching content from a third-party app, it might keep playing and using Internet data for up to five hours even after you turn off your device. To make sure this doesn’t happen:
- Switch to a channel without the Internet badge before turning off your device.
- Or, if you’re watching a third-party app, log out of the app before turning off the device.
