Add a Leviton Decora dimmer, switch, or outlet

Learn how to use the Xfinity Home app to add a Leviton Decora dimmer, switch, or outlet to your Xfinity Home system.

What you’ll need

• Xfinity Home
• The Xfinity Home app
• A Leviton Decora Smart Zigbee device:
  • In-Wall Dimmer (DG6HD)
  • In-Wall Switch (DG15S)
  • Plug-In Outlet (DG15A)
  • Plug-In Dimmer (DG3HL)

Add the device

1. Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
2. On the Add a Device screen, tap your Leviton device.
   
   
   • Did You Know? You can also use the Xfinity Home app to connect Works with Xfinity devices.
3. The Connect Account screen is the beginning of a setup wizard that walks you through the step-by-step process of installing and pairing your device. Tap Continue.
   
   • Note: Your screen may look slightly different from the examples shown based on your device model.
     
4. Is your device in-wall or plug-in?
   • In-wall: Install your switch, test that it's working and push the Air Gap button to the "in" position.
     
   • Plug-in: Plug the device directly into an electrical outlet. Do not use with extension cords.
     
5. Select the box to confirm all steps are complete, then tap Continue.
6. When the green light starts to blink, the device is ready for pairing. Tap Continue.
   
7. Wait for the system to find your device, which can take up to three minutes.

8. When your device is found, pairing is complete. Tap Continue.
   
9. Enter a name that identifies the device's location, such as “Living Room Table,” then tap Continue.
   
10. If your device plugs in, tap I Agree to indicate you've read and agree with the acceptable use for your device.
    
11. Tap Finish Set-up.
    

Congratulations! You have successfully paired and installed your device.
