Lock and Unlock Your Door Locks from the Xfinity Home App

Learn how to use the Xfinity Home app to control your Door Locks.

What You'll Need

• Xfinity Internet or Xfinity Home.
• Access to the Xfinity Home app.
• A compatible Lock installed and operating according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Xfinity Home: August, Kwikset or Yale.
  • Xfinity Internet: August.

Locking and Unlocking Your Lock

1. Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
2. On the Overview screen, scroll down to the Door Lock tile. The Lock name is the name that you gave your Lock when you paired it to your system.
   
   Do You Have Multiple Locks? If you have multiple Locks, make sure to use distinct names to avoid unlocking the wrong door.
   
3. The tile shows the current status of the Door Lock. Tap the Lock icon to lock or unlock your door.
