Use the Xfinity TV Remote app to search or browse live TV and Xfinity On Demand content and choose programs to watch on your TV.
If you have Xfinity X1, you can also say commands into the app as you would with your Voice Remote.

How to get the Xfinity TV Remote app
The Xfinity TV Remote app can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play.
Getting started
To use the Xfinity TV Remote app, you'll need:
- Xfinity TV service with an eligible TV Box.
- An Xfinity ID.
- An internet connection.

If you have more than one TV Box
When you first launch the Xfinity TV Remote app, you’ll need to select a default TV Box in your home and create "friendly" names for each TV Box if you haven't already done so. For setup instructions, see setting up the Xfinity TV Remote app.
You can view which TV Box you are controlling, or select another box from your:
- iPad/iPhone/iPod: Tap the TV icon in the top left corner.
- Android: Tap the menu icon, then tap Settings. The TV Box you’re controlling is the first option listed in the Settings menu. Tap it to select another one.
