It’s easy to find TV shows and movies using the Xfinity TV Remote app for Apple devices — just select the D-pad 
, tap the microphone icon, and say things like:
- "Record Saturday Night Live."
- "The Secret Life of Pets."
- "Channel 810."
Also, you can browse the TV Listings and On Demand tabs. Learn more about those options below.
Note: Voice control only works on Xfinity X1 TV Boxes and requires that the device has iOS 12 or higher.
TV listings
- Tap TV Listings on the bottom of the app to bring up the TV Listings grid.
- Slide your finger to browse up to two weeks of TV programs available on your lineup and scroll to a specific channel.
- Select any program, tap on Watch on TV to tune the channel to the TV from your phone.
- Tap Find a channel by name or number and enter a channel name or number to refine you results.
- Tap the Filter By button to narrow your choices for High Definition, Closed Captioning, Secondary Audio, Favorites, Kids, Sports or Movies.
- Tap Search on the bottom of the app and type a program title in the search box.
On Demand
- Tap the Xfinity On Demand icon on the bottom of the app and browse the featured Xfinity On Demand collections that are available to watch in TV, Movies, Networks, or Kids.
- Select any program, tap on On Demand tab and select Watch XOD to watch it on TV.
- You can use the filters to narrow your choices, or you can type in the title into Search and quickly find exactly what you are looking for in Xfinity On Demand.
