Use the Xfinity Voice Call Forwarding feature

Xfinity Voice offers flexible call forwarding options to help you manage incoming calls. Whether you want to forward all calls, specific calls, or use multiple numbers, this guide walks you through the setup process using the Xfinity website or app.

Xfinity Voice supports three types of call forwarding:

  • Basic Call Forwarding: Forward all incoming calls to one number.
  • Advanced Call Forwarding: Forward all incoming calls to up to four numbers in addition to your home phone.
  • Selective Call Forwarding: Forward calls from specific trusted numbers to one number.

Accessing Call Forwarding settings

You can manage Call Forwarding via:

Web browser

  1. Sign in to your Xfinity Voice Call Forwarding Settings with your Primary or Manager Xfinity ID and password.

Xfinity app

  1. Open the Xfinity app.
  2. Tap the Services tab.
  3. Under Home Phone, select View Xfinity Voice features.
  4. Tap the Settings wheel icon (Xfinity app sign-in may be required).
  5. Tap Settings, then the Menu drop-down.
  6. Select Call Forwarding.

After you have entered the Call Forwarding settings screen, you’ll see sections to set up and manage Basic, Advanced, and Selective Call Forwarding.

Basic Call Forwarding

Forward all incoming calls to a single number.

To activate:

  1. Under Basic Call Forwarding, enter the 10-digit number you want calls forwarded.
  2. Click Update.

To deactivate:

  • Follow the same steps and click Deactivate.

Advanced Call Forwarding

Forward all incoming calls to up to four numbers in addition to your home phone number.

To activate:

  1. Under Advanced Call Forwarding, enter a 10-digit number and click Add.
  2. Repeat to add up to four additional numbers.
  3. Set the number of ring attempts for each line.

To deactivate:

  • Click the trash icon next to each number (except your home phone, which cannot be removed).

Selective Call Forwarding

Forward incoming calls from up to 25 trusted numbers to one number.

To activate:

  1. Enter the forwarding number under Selective Call Forwarding and click Add.
  2. Enter each trusted caller’s 10-digit number and click Add to List.

To deactivate:

  • Click Remove Selected until all numbers are deleted.

Important notes

  • Call Forwarding isn’t available with Unlimited Saver and Local With More plans.
  • Seasonal hold accounts can’t activate Basic Call Forwarding via the home phone.
  • Seasonal hold accounts can use the website to activate Selective and Advanced Call Forwarding.
  • Anonymous Call Rejection overrides Selective Call Forwarding for anonymous numbers.
