  • After you use 5 GB, your data will still work, but it will be slower (3 Mbps) until your next pass starts.
  • If you want more high-speed data, you can add additional data to get 5 more GB.

How does the additional data work?
If you have an Unlimited or a 5 GB data plan, you can buy additional data giving you 5 more GB of high-speed data. You can use this extra data within the current Global Travel Pass 24-hour period. The additional data costs $10 per day per line. The charge is billed as a one-time fee once it’s activated, and it only covers usage until the current Global Travel Pass period ends.

This charge does not automatically renew and needs to be manually added when needed.

Example:

  • If Global Travel Pass is activated at 7:00 a.m. on May 15, it remains valid until 6:59 a.m. on May 16th.
  • If the additional data is added at 11:00 p.m. on May 15th, it also is valid until 6:59 a.m. on May 16th.
