How do I activate my smartwatch?

If you already have a smartwatch or just got a new one, you will need to pair it to an active line on your Xfinity Mobile account to use it.

Looking for more information about smartwatches with Xfinity Mobile, see how smartwatch plans work with Xfinity Mobile.

Setting your watch up can take about 30 minutes.

Here’s what you need to get started:

  • A watch capable of cellular data.
  • An active Xfinity Mobile phone with access to either cellular data or WiFi.
  • Make sure your phone has Bluetooth and WiFi turned on.
  • Make sure your devices are at least 50% charged.
  • Make sure your devices have the latest operating system.
  • You may need either your Apple ID, Samsung ID, and/or your Google ID and password.
  • You’ll also need your Xfinity ID and password.
    • A Primary or Manager Xfinity ID can activate any device on the account. Members can activate a device linked to their line.

The time it takes to set up your watch depends on your watch and phone. Follow the steps below to get started.

Notes:

  • You can set up Xfinity Mobile Care (XMC) for your smartwatch within 30 days of activation. For more details, review more about XMC.
  • The way you set up your watch must match the plan you selected when you ordered it. Choosing a different setup option may cause activation issues.
