Operating modes
The CT30S thermostat has two modes: simple and complex. In order to function properly and avoid programming conflicts, the thermostat must always be in simple mode. Your thermostat screen should look like the picture below. If it doesn’t, press and hold the PROG button for 12 seconds to switch the thermostat to simple mode.
Control the thermostat
Thermostat functions can be accessed and controlled at the thermostat or remotely from the touchscreen or the Xfinity Home app:
