Learn how to change your master keypad code. You can also add, change, or delete secondary keypad codes using the Xfinity Home app.
What you'll need
- Xfinity Home
- Access to the Xfinity Home app
- Your master keypad code

Accessing keypad codes
- Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
- On the Overview screen, tap the More icon, then tap Settings.

- Select More > Settings.
- Tap Security Codes.

Changing a master keypad code
- Follow the instructions to access keypad codes.
- Tap the pencil icon in the Master Keypad Code section.

- Enter your current four-digit Master Keypad Code, and then tap Continue.

- Enter a new four-digit Master Keypad Code, and then tap Save.

- Re-enter your original Master Keypad Code, and then tap Continue.

Adding a secondary keypad code
Secondary keypad codes added using the Xfinity Home app are automatically given standard access. Access level can be set using the touchscreen.
- Follow the instructions to access keypad codes.
- Tap the plus (+) icon for Add a Keypad Code.

- Enter the Name and four-digit code.
- Tap Select Days under Valid Days.

- Tap the checkbox to select the days that the keypad code is valid for.
- Tap the Back arrow, then tap Save.

- Enter your four-digit Master Keypad Code. Then, tap Continue.

Changing a secondary keypad code
- Follow the instructions to access keypad codes.
- Tap the pencil icon next to the name of the code that you want to change.

- Enter your four-digit Master Keypad Code, and then tap Continue.

- Make your desired changes, and then tap Save.

- Enter your four-digit Master Keypad Code, and then tap Continue.

Deleting a secondary keypad code
- Follow the instructions to access Keypad Codes.
- Tap the pencil icon next to the name of the code that you want to delete.

- Enter your four-digit Master Keypad Code, and then tap Continue.

- Tap Delete.

- Enter your four-digit Master Keypad Code, and then tap Continue.
