Install and Pair Your Yale Lock Using the Xfinity Home App

Learn how to install your Yale Door Lock and pair it to your Xfinity Home system using the Xfinity Home app.

• Xfinity Home
• Access to the Xfinity Home app
• Compatible Yale Lock
• Compatible red Yale Assure Lock Zigbee Network Module (AYR202-ZB-HA), version 261 or higher

Installing Your Lock

Before beginning the pairing process, install your lock according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Pairing Your Lock

1. Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
2. On the Overview screen, tap the More icon, then tap Add A Device.
   
3. On the Add A Device screen, tap the Yale model number you purchased.
   • This example shows all the Yale screens. Your app will show your Lock model.
     
4. Tap Continue.
   
5. Select each box to confirm that you have completed each task, then tap Continue.
   
6. For YRD226, YRD246 and YRD256 Locks:
   Place your palm on the Lock to wake it up, then tap Continue.
   
7. On the lock, enter the 4-to-8-digit Yale master PIN code, then press the Gear icon. In the app, tap Continue.
   
8. Press 7, then the Gear icon. Tap Continue.
   
9. Press 1, then the Gear icon. Tap Continue.
   
10. Wait for the system to find your Lock and add it to your account, which can take up to three minutes.
    
11. Tap Continue.
    
12. Enter a name for your Lock, then tap Next.
    • If you have more than one Lock, be sure and give each a unique descriptive name to minimize confusion.
      
13. Tap Finish Set-up.
    

That's all! Your Lock is now ready for use.
