You can reset Google Chrome to its default settings by following these steps.
Reset Google Chrome — Windows
- Click the menu icon (
) next to the address bar. - Click Settings toward the bottom of the drop-down menu.
- Choose Reset settings on the left side.
- Select Restore settings to their original defaults.
- Click Reset settings to confirm.
Reset Google Chrome — Mac
- Click the menu icon (
) to the right of the address bar. - Click Settings.
- Choose Reset settings on the left side of the screen.
- Select Restore settings to their original defaults.
- Click Reset settings to confirm.
