Use Voice Guidance on your Xfinity Home touchscreen to hear what is on your screen. This feature reads out buttons, icons, and menu options as you move your finger.
Note: Voice Guidance is only available on newer touchscreen models. If you don’t see Accessibility settings, contact the Support Center for Customers with Disabilities.
Turn on Voice Guidance
- Tap the gear icon on the Home screen.

- Tap Accessibility.
- Enter your 4-digit Primary Keypad Code.
- Turn on Voice Guidance.

Use Voice Guidance
- Slide your finger across the screen to hear items read aloud.
- When you hear the item you want, tap twice to select it.
- You can also swipe left or right to move through options.
Turn on the Voice Guidance shortcut
- Tap the gear icon on the Home screen.

- Tap Accessibility.
- Enter your 4-digit Primary Keypad Code.
- Turn on the Voice Guidance shortcut.

- Press the Home button three times to turn Voice Guidance on or off.
- Note: This is the round button at the bottom right of your touchscreen, not a button on the screen.
Change the speech speed
- Tap the gear icon at the top right hand corner of the home screen to open the Settings menu.

- Tap Accessibility.
- Enter your 4-digit Primary Keypad Code.

Choose a Speech Rate (Regular, Fast, or Fastest).
