Here's how to view channel information and access the option to watch, record, lock, or view program listings from the Xfinity X1 guide.
Notes:
- The following functionality may not be available for Xfinity free live streaming channels:
- Fast-forward
- Rewind
- Recording features
- When paused, Xfinity free live streaming channels may resume to the current moment of programming, rather than resuming from the pause point.
View channel information
- To access the guide grid, press the Guide button on the remote control.
- Navigate to the desired channel within the guide.
- Use the left arrow to highlight the channel name, number, logo and press the OK button on the remote.
- Choose from the following options:
- Choose Watch to watch the channel.
- Choose Record to set up a manual recording.
- Choose Favorite to add the channel to your favorites list.
- Choose Channel Info to view a list of upcoming programs on that channel.
- Press the Last button on the remote to go back to the guide grid.
Note: You can also view channel information from the mini guide. After accessing the channel listings, use the up arrow button to highlight Channel Info and press OK on the remote.
