Record a program on X1

Use these steps to record and schedule a program using your Xfinity X1 TV Box.

Notes:

Up to six programs can be recorded at one time with a standard X1 DVR. See X1 DVR Services Overview for details.
The following functionality may not be available for Xfinity free live streaming channels:
- Fast-forward
- Rewind
- Recording features
When paused, Xfinity free live streaming channels may resume to the current moment of programming, rather than resuming from the pause point.

Record a program

Press the Guide button on your remote control and highlight a program.
Select the Record button on the remote control or select the Record option on the program's info panel.
Select Just this episode and the recording will be set.
