X1 Stocks app overview

With the Stocks app on Xfinity X1, you can view the latest stock quotes, related news stories and follow your favorite stocks with minute-by-minute updates. Learn how to access and use the Stocks app on X1.

Access stocks information

1. Press the xfinity button on your remote control.
2. Using the right arrow button, scroll over to highlight Apps.
3. Press the OK button.
   

   
   
   

4. Scroll down to the News & info row.
5. Highlight the Stocks app tile and press the OK button.
6. View financial data for the following major market indexes:
   • Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI)
   • S&P 500
   • NASDAQ
   • Toronto Stock Exchange (Canada only)
     

View your stocks

To view your stocks, press the down arrow on your remote to highlight View My Stocks, then press OK.

• My stocks displays the latest financial data for stocks you choose to follow.
• You can choose to add or remove a stock or return to the Market indexes view using the buttons at the bottom of the screen.
  

Add a stock

1. To add a stock, select Add new stock to launch the search keyboard.
2. You can search by company name or by stock symbol.
   
   
   
3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the stock you wish to add.
4. Select OK to add the stock to My stocks.
   
   
   
5. After you have added a stock to My stocks, you can view more details by highlighting the stock and pressing OK.
   

Delete a stock

1. To delete a stock, from the My stocks screen, select Remove stocks.
2. Use the arrow keys to navigate the list and press OK on the X next to the stock you wish to remove.
   

Exit the Stocks app

Press Last to return to your list of stocks, press Exit once to return to the Apps menu, or press Exit twice to return to standard TV viewing.

Does using the Stocks app count against my monthly Internet data usage?
No, it does not.

Why don’t I see the Stocks app on my TV Box?
To utilize the Stocks app on X1, you must have a subscription to Xfinity Internet and a compatible X1 TV Box. RNG150 devices are not eligible for the Stocks app on X1.

What is the maximum amount of stocks I can track using the Stocks app?
You can track up to 15 stocks.
