The Weather app on Xfinity X1 allows you to view local weather and extended forecasts. The Weather app will default to the town where you receive your Xfinity services, and you can add additional locations to customize your Weather app experience.
Add Additional Locations
- Press the xfinity button on your remote control to access the Main Menu.
- Use the left arrow button or right arrow button to highlight Apps. Press the OK button.
- Use the arrow buttons to highlight Weather. Press OK.
- Use the right arrow button to highlight Add new location. Press OK.
- To add a location by ZIP Code, use the number buttons on your remote control to enter the ZIP Code. The city name will display below – press OK.
- Press the down arrow button once to highlight the desired City Name. Press OK.
- You can also search for a city if you don’t know the Zip Code by selecting letters from the keyboard – city names will automatically populate.
