Learn how to view and record programs from the Xfinity Stream portal's on-screen guide.

Turn any computer into a personal TV screen with the Xfinity Stream portal (xfinity.com/stream)! Stream live TV and watch Xfinity On Demand content. If you have X1 or another Xfinity TV package with cloud-based DVR service, you can also set, manage, and access recordings through the Xfinity Stream portal.

Browse, watch, and record programs using the on-screen guide

1. TV listings are viewed by clicking Live TV, and then selecting All Listings from the drop-down menu.
2. On the right-hand side of your screen, select Filters to narrow your listings by Available Out of Home (TV GO), High Definition (HD), Closed Captioning (CC), and Secondary Audio Programming (SAP).
   
   
   
3. Select a cell from the guide to Watch, Record or view more information about the program.
   
   
   
4. If you choose Set Series Recording, you’ll see additional recording options.
   
   
   
5. Select Confirm once you've decided how you would like to configure your series recording.
   
   
   
6. Select a cell from the guide to watch, record or view more information about the program.
7. If you choose to set a Series Recording, you’ll see additional recording options:
   • Record:
     • New episodes only
     • New and repeat episodes
   • Channels:
     • This channel
     • HD preferred
     • SD preferred
   • Save:
     • Until space is needed
     • For one year
   • Keep: All episodes, or one to five
   • Start:
     • On time
     • One minute early
     • Two minutes early
   • Stop:
     • On time
     • One minute late
     • Three minutes late
     • Five minutes late
     • Stop times are extended for live sports events (30 minutes, one hour, etc.)
