This article provides information on streaming live TV and DVR recordings using the Xfinity Stream portal.
Turn any computer into a personal TV screen with the Xfinity Stream portal (xfinity.com/stream)! Stream live TV, watch Xfinity On Demand, and access your DVR recordings on your computer through any internet connection!
Note: Only Xfinity X1 Cloud DVR customers can access and delete recordings with the Xfinity Stream portal.

Stream live TV and DVR recordings
While viewing a program, you can bring up guide and playback options at any time by hovering your mouse over the video screen.
Mini Guide
Click the CH button to bring up the Mini Guide, which will display the current program playing on each channel. Click the selected channel to view the program or click CH again to close the Mini Guide.
Last Viewed
Click the History button (clock icon) to view previously watched channels or recordings. Click the desired poster art to view or close the Last Viewed menu to return to the current program.
Closed captioning (CC)
Hover over the text bubble icon to enable or disable CC.
Select Settings then select Customize Display to customize options, like:
- Font Size
- Font Style
- Font Color
- Font Opacity
- Font Edge Style
- Font Edge Color
- Background Color
- Background Opacity
Maximize (full screen) and minimize
When a program has been minimized, it will appear as a bar at the bottom of the interface. Clicking the outward arrow again expands it.
Info
View program information, such as:
- Episode and season number
- Episode title
- Channel number and name
- Air date
- Running time
- Content overview
Other options
You will also have the option to:
- Manage volume control.
- Activate Secondary Audio Programming (SAP).
- Stop, Start, Resume, Start Over, or Pause (DVR recordings only).
- Enable descriptive audio.
