It's important to keep your Xfinity Home information up to date to ensure dispatch of emergency personnel. If you live in a municipality where an alarm permit or registration is required, learn how to add or update your alarm permit number in the Xfinity Home app.
What you'll need:
- Xfinity Home
- Access to your Xfinity Home app
Adding or updating your alarm permit number
- Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
- On the Overview screen, tap the More icon, then tap Settings.
- Tap Permit Registration.
- Then, make one of the following updates with your permit:
- To add a permit, tap the plus (+).
- To update a permit, tap the pencil icon.
- To add a permit, tap the plus (+).
- Enter your Alarm Permit Number and Expiration date.
- If the permit doesn't have an expiration date, leave the Expiration field blank.
- If the permit doesn't have an expiration date, leave the Expiration field blank.
- Tap the checkmark.
