Determine if Your Xfinity X1 TV Box Works With Our Over-the-Top (OTT) Streaming Partner Apps

If you don't see our OTT Streaming Partner apps (such as Amazon Prime Video or Netflix) on Xfinity X1, take the steps below to see if your TV Box is compatible.

X1 TV Box Compatibility With OTT Apps

To check if your TV Box is compatible with OTT apps, please follow these steps:

1. Press the xfinity button on your remote control.
2. Navigate to and click on Apps from the X1 Apps menu.
3. Highlight the OTT App icon you are trying to access and press OK. (Below is an example of the Netflix icon.)
   

If your box is incompatible with X1, instead of launching the app, you'll be prompted with an offer to exchange your X1 TV Box for a compatible one. Follow the on-screen instructions to order a compatible TV Box.

If you don't see any OTT App icons (such as the Netflix or YouTube icons) in the X1 Apps menu. Then confirm that you have one of the following X1 TV Boxes:
