If you just ordered Xfinity TV service and are waiting for equipment to be installed in your home, you can start watching a popular selection of live sports, news, and On Demand titles on your smartphone, tablet, online, Chromecast, or Fire TV device. You’ll just need an Internet connection and your Xfinity ID and password for access. Start watching now — Available networks to learn more. If the networks on that list are included in the Xfinity TV subscription you ordered, you'll be able to start watching them immediately after your order.

After your home installation is complete, you’ll have access to the full Xfinity Stream experience, which includes:

Stream Xfinity TV before your equipment is installed — Xfinity Stream app

1. Download the Xfinity Stream app from the App Store or Google Play.
   
   
   
2. Open the Xfinity Stream app on your mobile device and follow the prompts to sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.
   
   • Note: If you don’t remember your username and password, or don’t have a username, tap More options (next to Can’t sign in?).
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
3. Until your equipment is installed, you'll see this message when you launch the Xfinity Stream app.
   
   
   
4. To find all the live channels that are included in your Xfinity TV service and are also available to you before your equipment is installed, tap the menu button in the top-left corner, followed by All Channels under the Live TV heading.

5. Once available, you’ll be notified within the Xfinity Stream app that you now have access to your full subscription and services.
   

Stream Xfinity TV before your equipment is installed — Xfinity Stream Portal

1. Visit xfinity.com/stream. Select Sign In.
   
   
   
2. Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.

3. Select Learn More to start watching a selection of shows and movies on Xfinity Stream.
   
   
   
4. Until your equipment is installed, you'll see this message when you launch the Xfinity Stream portal.
   
   
   
5. To find all the live channels that are included in your Xfinity TV service and are also available to you before your equipment is installed, click the Live TV drop-down menu button in the top navigation bar, followed by All Channels.
6. Once available, you’ll be notified within the Xfinity Stream portal that you now have access to your full subscription and services.
   

FAQs

What live TV channels, shows and movies On Demand are included in Xfinity Stream before my installation is complete?
Many of the networks included with your TV subscription are available, though not all. You can find them through the main menu, under For You, Browse, or Live TV.

Can I use Xfinity Stream on my Chromecast or Fire TV device before my equipment is installed and activated?
Yes, you can stream live and On Demand content on these devices before your installation has been completed.

Can I use Xfinity Stream on my Roku, Samsung, or LG smart TV before my equipment is installed and activated?
No, Xfinity Stream on these devices won't stream live or On Demand content until your installation is complete.

When can I see all shows and movies from networks included in my subscription?
Once your equipment has been installed and activated, all networks included in your subscription will be available.

When can I use my DVR?
If you subscribe to DVR service, it will be available once your equipment has been installed and activated in your home.
