You can create an Xfinity ID to access your service online. You can also manage your Xfinity ID and create up to six secondary IDs through your account.

Create your Xfinity ID
- To create your Xfinity ID, go to xfinity.com/getstarted.
- You can also click Create an Xfinity ID from any sign-in page.
- Enter the mobile number linked to your account. Then, click Continue.
- Enter the six-digit verification code sent to your mobile number. Then, click Continue.

- Enter your Xfinity service address. Then click Continue.

- Enter your existing personal email address.
- Xfinity will send you a link to verify that email address.
- If you don't get the invitation, check that your email address was entered right.
- You can also check your Junk or Spam folder.

- You have 72 hours to click the link sent to your personal email.
- If you don't click the link in time, you won’t be able to use your non-Xfinity address to log in.
- You can still log in using the Xfinity ID or your comcast.net email address.
- You can also add another email address to your account from the Settings tab in your account and try again.

- Xfinity will send you a link to verify that email address.
- Create a strong password following the guidelines shown. Then, click Continue.

Can I use a non-Xfinity Email address to log in to Xfinity apps and websites?
Yes, you can use your personal email address and/or mobile number to log in to all Xfinity apps and websites. You'll need to add it to your profile first in your account and respond to the verification message. Until you verify, you can't use it to log in to Xfinity apps.
How do I assign my Xfinity ID to an Xfinity Mobile line?
Sign in to xfinity.com using the Primary or Manager Xfinity ID and follow the steps in Manage user roles and permissions on Xfinity accounts.
Can I use the Xfinity app if I don’t have an Xfinity ID?
If you have Xfinity Mobile, you can still see some details about your line and device in the Xfinity app — even without an Xfinity ID or signing in. When you open the app from your Xfinity Mobile device, you’ll be able to view limited information about your line and any paired device, like:
- Your data plan, data usage and available features for the line.
- Access to Help & Support articles from the Xfinity app.
- Turn on Number Lock.

What's the difference between my Primary Xfinity ID and my preferred email address?
Xfinity ID
This is what you use to sign in to your Xfinity account. It can be:
- Your email address.
- Your phone number.
- A username you picked.
Preferred Email Address
This is where Xfinity sends you important messages, like bills or updates. It can be:
- Your Comcast email.
- Or any other email you like (such as Gmail or Yahoo).

When you create your Xfinity ID and password, you have access to all Xfinity customer mobile and web applications. You'll be able to:
- Start watching some TV content on your computer, smartphone or tablet right away.
- Manage upcoming appointments, pay your bill and more in your account.
