The Tips and Tricks for X1 app is your one-stop shop to discover features of Xfinity X1. Get tips and watch tutorials on all aspects of X1.

Note: The Tips and Tricks for X1 app is available in both English and Spanish. To change the language for audio or navigation, see Managing Audio Language and Mode in X1.

Get to the Tips and Tricks for X1 App from the Help Menu

1. Press the A button on your remote.
2. Select X1 Tips and Tricks.
   

Get to the Tips and Tricks for X1 App from the Apps Menu

1. Press the xfinity button on your remote control.
2. Using the right arrow button, scroll over to highlight Apps. Press the OK button.
   Note: If your remote doesn't have an OK button, press the raised button in the center of the directional pad.
   

   

3. Using the down arrow, scroll to the Xfinity row.
4. Arrow to the Tips and Tricks tile. Press OK.
5. Using the up arrow and down arrow buttons, scroll through the list. Highlight a tip or tutorial that interests you. Press OK.
   
6. Information will appear on the screen for the selection made. Some selections will also include an option to get further information, such as Go To Settings. To select these options, scroll to highlight them and press OK.
   
7. Press Exit to return to standard TV viewing, or press Last/left arrow to return to the Apps menu.
