Your Xfinity X1 remote keypad makes searching for movies, TV series, music videos, personalities, sporting events, apps and more a breeze!
You can also search using the search bar at the top of the Search.
Using the remote keypad to search
- Press the xfinity button on the remote.
- Use the right arrow or left arrow button to navigate to Search.
- Press OK on the remote.
- Use the keypad's alphanumeric keys to enter your search term. For example, to search for "NOVA" enter 6682.
- Use the 0 button to enter a space.
- As you enter numbers, they'll appear at the top of the screen. The search will suggest titles or apps that match your entry so far.
- Use the down arrow button to highlight a search result.
- Press OK to choose a search result.
- Press the Last button to go back to the search result list.
- Press Exit to leave the Search screen.
Searching while watching live TV
- While watching live TV, press the number buttons on your remote to open the Search box. As you enter more numbers, Search will continue to suggest shows that match your entry.
- For example, if you press the 5-2-0-5-2-0 buttons, which correspond to L-A-L-A, the La La Land movie will appear.
- For example, if you press the 5-2-0-5-2-0 buttons, which correspond to L-A-L-A, the La La Land movie will appear.
- Press OK on your remote to visit the La La Land page, or press Exit to close the Search box.
