Using the search bar
- Press the xfinity button on the remote.
- Use the arrow buttons to move to Search and press OK.
- Use your voice: Simply use your voice with the Voice Remote to search in seconds instead of using the number keys on your remote.
- When in dictation mode, the “Mic Open” icon will be shown in the search bar, instead of the top right.
- Dictation mode is only active when the search keyboard is displayed. If you navigate below the search keyboard and say a voice command, your remote will act as it regularly does when you’re not in the search menu.
- Use the arrow buttons: On the remote, use the left and right arrows to navigate to the first letter of what you want to search, and press OK to choose the letter. As you choose characters, they'll appear at the top of the screen and the search will begin to suggest titles or apps that match what you've entered so far
- Use the character to the right of Z to enter a space.
- To choose a number or a special character, arrow over to ?123 and press OK. Then highlight the desired character and press OK.
- Highlight ABC go to back to the alphabetical list.
- Repeat to choose additional letters.
- Press the down arrow then use the left and right arrow buttons to highlight a search result and press OK.
- Press the Last (or back arrow) button to go back to the search result list.
- Press Exit to exit the Search screen.
