Here's how to get information on a series, movie or other program, and access options to record, add to favorites, lock and more using the Xfinity X1.
See more information about a TV show or movie
To access episode information using the X1 On-Screen Guide:
- Press the xfinity button on your remote control.
- Locate the program by browsing the guide, On Demand menu or through the Search menu.
- Use the up, down, left or right arrow buttons on the remote to highlight the program, then press the Info button on the remote.
- Depending on the type of program you selected, use the right arrow button to highlight Series Info, Movie Info or More Info. Then, press the OK button on the remote.
Series Info
The Series Info option displays information about a television series.
- Use the right arrow and left arrow keys and press OK to choose:
- Watch options.
- Episodes to access the Episode Guide.
- Trailer to watch a trailer for the series (where available).
- Record to set up a series recording.
- Remind to set up a series reminder.
- Extras to view any extra content (e.g., behind-the-scenes featurettes, photo galleries) that may be available to view or purchase.
- Parental Guide to view suitable content information.
- Favorite to add the series to your Favorites list.
- Note: Extras and Parental Guide are available depending on which program is selected; these features are not available on all programs.

- Press the down arrow once to go to the Watch Now/Start Watching/Continue Watching row, which displays available episodes within the context of where you left off within a series. Press the down arrow again to view other programs that are similar to the one you selected.
- Press the down arrow again to go to the Cast & Crew section and view information on the program's cast or crew.
- Press the down arrow once to view other programs that are similar to the one you selected. Some TV series will include People Also Watched.
Movie Info
The Movie Info option displays information about a movie.
- Use the right arrow and left arrow keys and press OK to choose:
Watch Options:- Watch if the movie is currently airing, or Buy if the movie is available for purchase through Xfinity On Demand Purchases. (See the Xfinity On Demand Purchases FAQs to learn more.)
- Trailer to watch the trailer for the movie (where available).
- Extras to view any extra content (e.g., behind-the-scenes featurettes) that may be available to view or purchase.
- Record to record the movie.
- Parental Guide to see more details about a program’s rating.
- Favorite to add to your Favorites list.
- Mark Watched or Mark Unwatched (for movies that you have recorded or that are available via Xfinity On Demand).
- Other Times to view the High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition (SD) channel that the program is currently airing on upcoming listings for the program.
- Depending on the movie, pressing the down arrow displays various options, including Collections, People Also Watched, Upcoming and More Like This.
- Press the down arrow again to go to the Cast & Crew section and view information on the program's cast or crew.
More Info
The More Info option displays information about other programs, such as live sporting events.
- Use the right arrow and left arrow keys and press OK to choose:
- Watch if the program is currently airing.
- Record to record the program.
- Other Times to view the HD and SD channel that the program is currently on and upcoming listings for the program.
