Xumo from Xfinity (formerly Flex) is a voice-controlled 4K streaming TV Box that puts all your favorite streaming apps in one place on your TV.
Xfinity Flex is no longer available for new customers. Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity is the newest streaming device for new Xfinity Internet customers. You can learn more about Xumo by visiting xfinity.com/xumo.
To use Xumo from Xfinity (formerly Flex), you'll need an Xfinity Flex streaming TV Box. The first Xfinity Flex streaming TV Box (which is 4K ultra high definition, or UHD, enabled) is included with your Xfinity Internet service for no additional cost. Each additional Flex streaming TV Box is $5 per month.
You can cancel Xumo from Xfinity (formerly Flex) at any time by returning your Flex streaming TV Box using our Digital Returns Center. Canceling Xumo from Xfinity (formerly Flex) will not affect your Xfinity Internet service.

- If you're an Xfinity TV customer, you aren’t eligible for Xumo from Xfinity (formerly Flex).
- You can have Xfinity Home, Xfinity Mobile, and/or Xfinity Voice services and still be eligible for Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity.
- Internet Essentials, Prepaid Internet, and Bulk TV customers aren’t eligible for Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity at this time.

Installation
Follow the instructions in the Getting Started kit and you'll be up and running in no time. If you have questions during your activation, refer to our activation guide or chat with us. You'll need the phone number associated with your account when you activate the streaming TV Box, so have that handy.
If you’re renting an Xfinity Gateway, your Xfinity Flex streaming TV Box will automatically connect to the internet during the activation process. If you’re using an eligible modem that you purchased, you’ll be prompted to set up WiFi manually during activation.
