Page 1: Overview

1: Billing Date

  • The Billing Date at the top of the bill is the date when your bill is ready to be viewed online and the date it is mailed to you if you get paper bills.
    • You'll see any service changes or payments made after that date on your next bill.

2: Service From

  • The Service From is the start and end date for this bill. It tells you the time period for which you are being billed.

3: Your bill at a glance — This section shows a summary of any payments made toward your last bill and any new charges for the new bill period.

  • Previous balance: Shows any balance that you haven’t paid when the next bill cycles.
  • Payment: Shows any payment made since the last bill.

  • Credit balance (not shown in the example above): Shows if the account has a credit balance.
  • Past due balance (not shown in the example above): Shows if the account has an outstanding balance.
  • Partial charges (not shown in the example above): Shows if you made a change to your services in the middle of the service period. This can show as a charge or a credit depending on if you added or removed services.
  • Regular monthly charges: Gives a total of all recurring monthly service charges.
  • One-time charges (not shown in the example above): Includes charges that only appear on the bill one time, like Xfinity On Demand rentals and purchases, or installation fees.
  • Taxes, fees and other charges: Includes taxes, fees, and surcharges. To learn more about these fees, see the Learn more about the taxes, fees, and other charges on your bill page.
  • New charges: Gives a total of charges for the current bill. It adds together the Regular monthly charges, Partial charges, One-time charges, and Taxes, fees and other charges for this billing period to give you a total for the month.
  • Amount due: Refers to the charges on your bill plus any unpaid balance on your account from the date the bill printed.

FAQs

How can I see my bill?
You can see your bill by signing in to your account. If you're enrolled in paperless billing, you'll get a text alert or email when it is available online. If you aren't enrolled in paperless billing, you will get a paper bill each month instead.

Do I still make my check or money order out to Comcast?
Yes. If you pay by check or money order, it should be payable to "Comcast." When you send your payment, include the bottom portion of the bill's first page with your check or money order. Do not send cash by mail.
