Check your remote's battery level

You can determine the battery level of your Xfinity remote by following the steps below.

Note: These instructions apply to the XR2, XR5, XR11, and XR15 remote models. Other Comcast remotes do not support the battery level feature. See xfinity.com/remotes to determine which remote you have.

Check battery power

To check the battery level of your Xfinity remote, simply say "Remote settings" or "Remote battery" into your Xfinity Voice Remote. Your remote's battery life should then appear on your TV screen.

You can also determine the battery level of your Xfinity remote by following the steps below:

1. Press the xfinity button on the remote.
2. Select Settings (Gear icon).
3. Click on Remote Settings to view the battery level.
