You can manage your Xfinity appointment through:
- Text message with the Primary owner’s verified number.
- Your account online.
- The Xfinity app.
- Your Xfinity X1 TV Box.
How to schedule an appointment
The Xfinity Assistant and the Xfinity app can help you troubleshoot and schedule technician appointments if you need one. Start by asking the Xfinity Assistant for help.
Already have an appointment? If you want an earlier date or time, you can join the Appointment Waitlist.
Note: Appointments are scheduled in two-hour windows. The technician may come at any time during the timeframe.
Manage appointment with text messaging
The Primary owner with a verified mobile number can use their phone to manage the appointment:
- Schedule an appointment: After it’s scheduled, you’ll get a text if your phone number is set up to receive texts.
- Reply to the message: Reply with "appt" to 266278 to see options to view, reschedule, or cancel your appointment.
- Join the waitlist: Reply with "waitlist" to 266278 to join the Appointment Waitlist or check your place in line.
- Get reminders: You’ll get a reminder the day before your appointment. You’ll also get real-time alerts for when the technician arrives.
- Service restored: If your Xfinity services come back before your appointment, you’ll get a message asking if you want to cancel.
Manage appointments through your account online
If you’re a Manager or above, you can change the appointment online without contacting Xfinity:
- Go to xfinity.com.
- Sign in to your account with your Xfinity ID and password.
- After you sign in, you'll see an appointment confirmation banner at the top of the page.

- Click More Details to manage your appointment. You can cancel or reschedule it. You can also update your best contact number for real-time alerts of the technician’s arrival time.
- Service fees may apply.
- You may need to contact Xfinity to cancel some appointments.

- After you make changes, you'll see a confirmation message. It will show your updated information.
Manage appointments with the Xfinity app
If you’re a Manager or above, you can reschedule or cancel your service appointment using the Xfinity app:
- Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in to your account with your Xfinity ID and password.
- On the Overview tab, under Latest updates, your appointment information may appear.
- If you don't see the details, refresh the app or use Xfinity Assistant to manage your appointment.
Manage appointments from your X1 TV Box
When you have a repair or installation appointment with Comcast, you can see it on your X1 TV Box:
- Using your X1 remote, press the xfinity button.
- Select X1 Apps.
- Scroll down, and go to the My Account app.
- Highlight the Appointment Scheduled icon. Your appointment date and time will show under it.

- Select the appointment for more details.
- On the day of the appointment, the time window will be narrowed to give you a better idea of when the technician will arrive.

- To reschedule, highlight Reschedule and press OK. Choose a new date and time that works for you, then confirm your changes.
- To cancel, select Cancel Appointment and press OK.
