Your Xfinity ID gives you access to everything from managing your account to enjoying entertainment. You use it whenever you sign in to manage or enjoy your services. Your Xfinity ID can be your email address, mobile number, username, or your comcast.net email address.
Find your Xfinity ID using the Xfinity app
- Sign in to the Xfinity app.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Account settings.
- Tap Xfinity ID and security.
- Under Personal Information, you’ll see your Xfinity ID. You can use your mobile number, personal email, or Xfinity email as your Xfinity ID.
- Note: You can use your mobile number, personal email or Xfinity email as your Xfinity ID.
Change your Xfinity ID
You can change your Xfinity ID at any time. It must be different from your old one.
Note: You can’t change your Comcast email address.
- Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.
- Click the Account icon.
- Click Account and Identity.
- Under Your Information, click Xfinity ID and Security.
- Click Personal email within the Your Information section.
- Click Change email.
- Verify your identity with a notification in the Xfinity app or a code sent by text or email.
- Approve the notification in the app or enter the code to confirm it’s you.
- Enter your new email address and click Continue.
- You’ll get a code at the new email address. Enter the code and click Verify.
- You’ll see a message confirming you email is verified.
