Remove downloads and manage devices for the Xfinity Stream app and portal

You can use either the Xfinity Stream app or the Manage Devices page within the Xfinity Stream portal to view devices that have downloaded content. You can also remove downloads from any device authorized for use with Xfinity TV.

Manage devices through the Xfinity Stream app

  1. Open the Xfinity Stream app, and go to Settings (or click the account icon).
  2. Tap Manage Devices.

  3. To return downloads from a device, under DEVICES WITH DOWNLOADS, tap Return on the device you want to return watched content. It can now be downloaded to another device.

  4. When asked, "Are you sure you want to return all downloads from this device?," tap Yes, return.
    • This will return all downloads.
  5. You'll see a list of devices currently streaming.
    • If you’ve reached your streaming limit, you’ll need to stop playback on one device before you can start playback on another.

Manage devices through the Xfinity Stream portal

  1. Go to xfinity.com/stream/settings/devices. Enter your Xfinity ID or email address and password.
  2. Click the Sign In button.
  3. Go to Settings, and click Manage Devices.

  4. To remove a download from a device, under Devices with Downloads, select Return on the right side of the device with the download.

  5. Select Yes, return.

  6. Refresh the page after five minutes. It takes a few minutes to return the content.

  7. You'll see a list of devices currently streaming.
    • If you’ve reached your streaming limit, you’ll need to stop playback on one device before you can start streaming on another.
