Note: Text messaging may still appear as an option in the Notifications menu but is no longer offered. Also, notifications from third-party services like Facebook now show a footer that reads, "Sent by Xfinity."

Access notifications settings
To access Notifications:
- Using the remote, press the xfinity button.
- Highlight Settings (the gear icon) and press OK.
- Highlight Preferences and press OK.
- Highlight Notifications and press OK.
- Highlight the notification you want to change, then press OK on the remote to turn the notification on or off.
- Click Exit to finish.
