Using the Xfinity Home app for Xfinity X1, you can conveniently arm your system directly from your X1 TV Box.
Arm Your System
- Using your Xfinity Voice Remote, say "XFINITY Home Arm" to skip steps 1-3 and directly bring up the Security Status screen. Say "XFINITY Home Arm Away", "XFINITY Home Arm Night" or "XFINITY Home Arm Stay" to open up the Keypad Code screen on step #6. Once confirmed, the system will arm to the specified setting.
Alternatively, you may press the xfinity button on your remote control and continue to step #2. - Using the right arrow button, scroll over to highlight Apps. Press the OK button.
- Using the right arrow button, scroll over to highlight the Xfinity Home app. Press the OK button.
- Select security status from the app main menu.
- Press OK on your remote.
- Select an Arming Mode.
- Enter your four-digit security Keypad Code in the Enter keypad code field.
- Once entered, arming will begin. Press OK to continue or select Cancel to stop the arming process. Note: Exiting the application or turning off your TV Box will not stop the arming process.
