Notifications help you keep track of important events on your home network — like when your WiFi password changes or a new device connects.
You can choose to get these notifications in real time by:
- Email.
- Text.
- Push notifications on your mobile device.
Some alerts also appear on your TV through the X1 notification center. Learn more about X1 notifications.

- WiFi name changes from Broadcast to Hidden or vice versa.
- WiFi security changes from Closed to Open.
- Network IP address changes.
- Gateway factory reset.
Network activity notifications
These alerts tell you about user and device activity, such as:

- A profile reaches its allotted active time.
- Threats that need your attention (only for customers with Advanced Security enabled).
