CC, audio description, and SAP

CC, similar to subtitles, is a text transcript of the audio portion of a program as it occurs. It is useful any time the dialogue is difficult to hear or understand. See the CC overview to learn more.

Audio description describes what is happening in the program video, like actions, facial expressions, costumes, scene changes, and more. See what is audio description to learn more.

Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) is available for some programs. It offers other language soundtracks that let you listen to a program in a different language.

These options are not available for all programs.

  1. Open Apple's Settings app.
  2. Tap Accessibility.
